Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website or services of Asatsuyu (“we,” “our,” or “us”), or by engaging our services in any capacity, you (“Client,” “Clients,” “you,” “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and disclaimers. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

Client Responsibilities (Japan Entry Requirements)

Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable Japan entry requirements, including passport validity, visas, and required travel documentation. Entry requirements are determined by Japanese authorities and may vary depending on the Client’s circumstances.

Asatsuyu may provide general guidance but is not responsible for denied entry, delays, additional costs, or inconvenience arising from the Client’s failure to meet applicable requirements. Clients must review all travel confirmations and notify Asatsuyu promptly of any discrepancies.

Travel Insurance and Liability Acknowledgment

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to their trip. Asatsuyu does not provide or arrange insurance. Clients are solely responsible for securing their own coverage.

Travel insurance should cover, but is not limited to, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellations, lost or stolen property, and any other non-refundable costs or unexpected expenses. Clients are responsible for complying with all regulation in Japan, including any new rules requiring foreign travelers to have valid medical insurance. Asatsuyu is not liable for any losses, cancellations, non- refundable costs, medical expenses, or other unforeseen expenses incurred during travel, regardless of cause.

Supplier Terms and Conditions

Clients acknowledge that all third-party suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellations, changes, and other terms. Clients may be bound by these contracts regardless of notice.

Etiquette & Cultural Conduct

Clients are responsible for respecting local customs, cultural practices, and venue- specific policies in Japan, including appropriate attire, grooming, and behavior. This includes adherence to guidelines in restaurants, temples, shrines, and other cultural or private establishments.

Certain venues may impose specific requirements—such as restrictions on strong fragrances, photography, noise levels, or dress code.  Asatsuyu shall not be liable for denial of entry, removal, or any inconvenience arising from a client’s failure to comply with such rules.

Dining and Food-Related Risks

Clients acknowledge that dining in Japan may involve consuming raw or specialty foods, and that individual dietary restrictions or sensitivities may increase the risk of foodborne illness or stomach discomfort. Asatsuyu is not responsible for any illness, allergic reaction, or food-related health issues that may occur during travel.

Privacy & Data Protection

We will collect and use necessary personal data to arrange travel services on your behalf. By using our services, Clients consent to data sharing with suppliers as required. Clients have the right to request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting Asatsuyu.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and branding, is the property of Asatsuyu and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

Amendments to Terms

Asatsuyu reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
